Endeavour Learning SCITT provides outstanding Secondary school-centred initial teacher training.
Endeavour Learning (formerly known as Manchester, Merseyside & Lancashire) is a group of North-West schools who are responsible for the design and delivery of Secondary School Centred Initial Teacher Training. The partnership of schools are Tarleton Academy, Ormskirk School and Golborne High School.
Our vision is to prepare trainees to become outstanding teachers through inspiring and high-quality training in creative school partnerships, focusing on understanding and promoting effective learning and pupil progress and developing professional expertise.
The Associated Merseyside Partnership SCITT (AMP SCITT) is a strong and collaborative partnership of schools and colleges in the Merseyside area with a number of distinctive features that contribute to diversity and choice for trainees.
AMP have an excellent training and employment record. 100% of their 2015/16 trainees completed the course and 97% passed with a grading of good or outstanding. From the 2015/16 cohort, 100% of AMP trainees were employed in the teaching profession for the start of the new school year.
The wide variety of partner schools is a major strength of the consortium. AMP offers trainees a teaching experience in a mixed comprehensive, an 11-18 school, a Roman Catholic school, a single sex school, a studio school, and an Academy. The range of subject specialisms and awards to be found within AMP is exceptional.
