Other Equipment

Other Equipment

Pupils will need to bring the following items to school on a daily basis:

  • iPad / Chromebook (charged)
  • Pen
  • Exercise books
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Ruler

Please also be aware of the following additions that we would like pupils to bring into school as part of their everyday equipment:

  • A green biro (this is used for peer/ self-assessment and when pupils make improvements to their work)
  • A glue stick (in order to promote high standards in pupil presentation they will need glue to stick worksheets into their books)
  • A whiteboard pen (teachers use ‘mini whiteboards’ in lessons for a variety of reasons e.g. for pupils to develop their own answers in draft, to check pupil understanding etc.)

It is essential, therefore that you provide your child with a pen, pencil, eraser and ruler. School will initially provide pupils with a planner and exercise books, however should they lose them they will be required to purchase a new one.

In addition they will also need:

  • Protractor
  • Pair of compasses
  • A scientific calculator eg. Casio FX-83
  • A dictionary – handy enough to be a constant source of reference
