Temporary Fixed Term Teacher of Computer Science

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic teacher to deliver Computer Science and ICT in this thriving, oversubscribed 11 – 18 mixed comprehensive school. The post is a temporary fixed term contract to cover maternity leave and would be suitable for experienced teachers.

This candidate will have experience of delivering ICT and Computer Science at Key Stage 3 and be able to teach a range of qualifications - GCSE Computer Science, BTEC Level 2, A level Computer Science and Level 3 BTEC ICT. They will be highly competent in their use of information technology and programming.  Ormskirk School and its constituent schools have a long tradition of excellent standards within the ICT/Computing department and it is expected that the successful candidate would be committed to continuing this and developing the role that ICT plays in the wider life of the school.
