Pupil Support for Safeguarding and Wellbeing

Whether you're feeling great, stressed, confused, worried or just curious — this is a safe space to learn about:

  • Staying safe
  • Looking after your mental health
  • Relationships
  • Online safety
  • Getting help when you need it

Safeguarding means making sure children and young people are safe, protected and supported.

This includes protection from:

  • Abuse
  • Neglect
  • Exploitation
  • Online harm
  • Bullying

If you have concerns relating to safeguarding, there are lots of ways in which you can access support.

In school we have a dedicated team of Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs). These are:

  • Mr Asgharyzadegan
  • Miss Haury
  • Mr Burnham
  • Mr Dane
  • Mrs Blackhurst

It is important to remember you can report your concerns or worries to any staff member in school.

You can also report concerns and worries using the 'Reach Out' tool on the school website.

Support can also be accessed outside of school through the following services:

Childline

If you’re under 19 you can confidentially call, chat online or email about any problem, big or small.

Childline is free, confidential and available any time, day or night. You can talk to trained counsellors:

  • Calling 0800 111
  • Sign up for a free Childline locker (real name or email address not needed) to use their free 1-2-1 counsellor chat and email support service.
  • The service can provide a BSL interpreter if you are deaf or hearing-impaired.

You can find out more information via their website: Childline.
