Year 6 to 7 Transition
A warm welcome to our future students. The transition from primary to secondary school is a new and exciting experience, which can sometimes be a little worrying for children and their families. Our aim is to make this transition a smooth and supportive one, ensuring that our new students feel ‘proud to belong’ to the Ormskirk School family.

We have a number of ways in which we support transition:

Thursday 5th March 6-7pm Venue: Ormskirk School, Wigan Road L39 2AT- no booking necessaryTuesday 17th March 4.30-5.30pm Venue: Cobbs Brow Primary School, Skelmersdale WN8 6SU. Summer School is a great opportunity for students to make new friends, meet our staff and have fun together before the school year begins. Once you have had your offer confirmed, you will be able to book your child’s free place here:
