Hello Year 10

After Easter for Maths, you will complete two practice exam papers for Mathematics. Paper 1 is a Calculator paper, and Paper 2 is Non-Calculator.

Your teacher has set you two Revision tasks on MathsWatch, one for each paper. The questions on the Revision tasks cover the same topics that will appear on your Exam papers and as you work through them you should use the questions to help you to decide if there are any topics you would like to then revise in a bit more detail. You can use the MathsWatch video clips and Interactive Questions to do this.

On your Exam papers, there will also be a small number of questions that have been crossed through. This means that you haven't covered the topic yet, and are therefore not expected to answer that question.

However, if you feel quite confident with the topics that appear on the main revision tasks then you may wish to have a look at the MathsWatch Clips (lists attached) that cover the 'crossed out' questions. These questions will be marked by your teacher if you do decide to give them a try when you do your Exams.

There is absolutely no pressure or expectation for you to look at these additional topics, it is simply an optional extra.

Please speak to your Maths Teacher if you are unsure about any of the information here.
