Image of Ormskirk Sixth Form Students Celebrate Excellent A Level Results

Ormskirk School's Sixth Form students are celebrating an excellent set of A Level results.

At Ormskirk School, which is part of the Endeavour Learning Trust, several subjects enjoyed outstanding results, Further Maths achieved 100% A*-B, Maths achieved 100% A-E. Science also achieved well most notably Biology with 100% A-C and Chemistry 100% A-D. Creative subjects also enjoyed success with Drama 100% A-B, Music 100% D*-M and Fine Art 100% A-D.

Students have secured places at a wide range of universities and on apprenticeship and employment pathways, reflecting the breadth of opportunity on offer at Ormskirk's Sixth Form.

Just some of the individual outstanding results include:

Lilly Arbon-Black secured A*,A*,A,B and has accepted a place at University of Liverpool studying Mathematics.

Oliver White obtained A*,A,B and is taking a vocational route as he has secured a high level apprenticeship.

Ava Flanagan achieved grades A*,A,A and is going on to study Biology at Lancaster University.

John Burnham, headteacher of Ormskirk School, said:

“Our Sixth Form students should be extremely proud of what they've achieved today. These results open the door to some fantastic next steps, and I want to thank our Sixth Form staff for the support they've given every student along the way.”
